2. What data we process
Browsing data
The systems that run this website automatically collect some technical data whose transmission is inherent in the use of the Internet: IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser type and operating system. This data is recorded in the server logs and is used only to keep the website working properly and securely.
Data you provide
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the data you choose to share with us (for example your name, contact details, dates of stay and special requests) in order to reply and, if you wish, to arrange your stay.
Online bookings
The "Book" buttons on this website lead to the external booking platform booking&more. The data you enter there is collected through the booking service and passed on to us so that we can manage your booking. For the processing carried out by the platform operator, please read the privacy policy published on the platform itself.
Data relating to your stay
If you stay with us, we process the data required to meet our legal obligations, including reporting guests' personal details to the public security authorities (Art. 109 of the Italian Consolidated Law on Public Security), handling the tourist tax, and tax and accounting obligations.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to your requests and managing your booking and stay: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Complying with legal obligations (public security, tax, tourist tax): legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Ensuring the website works properly and securely and protecting our rights: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not use your data for profiling and we do not send you promotional messages without your consent.
4. Providing your data
Providing your data is optional, but without it we cannot reply to your requests or manage your booking. The data required by law for your stay is mandatory.
5. How and how long we keep your data
Data is processed using electronic and paper-based tools, with appropriate security measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.
- Enquiries: for as long as needed to handle them and in any case no longer than 24 months.
- Accounting and tax records: 10 years, as required by law.
- Browsing data (server logs): for a limited period, unless needed to investigate possible offences.
6. Who receives your data
Your data is never published. It may be shared, only for the purposes described above, with:
- providers of hosting and technical website management services, acting as data processors;
- the booking platform booking&more, for managing online bookings;
- tax and accounting advisers;
- public authorities, where required by law.
7. Transfers outside the EU
As a rule, your data is processed within the European Union. If you choose to use third-party services, such as the Google Maps map on the Contact page or WhatsApp, those providers may also process data in the United States, on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
8. Your rights
At any time you can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, or object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR).
